For the second year, during the month of March - Sleep Awareness Month - community groups, schools, individuals, and businesses in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, & Chester Counties organized collections of new pillows, new sheet sets, new blankets, and new toothbrushes for the Beds for Kids program. Friends of OHAAT gave generously to help the many local children and youth living in poverty who do not have a bed of their own to sleep in.

As of today, OHAAT has received 343 new sheet sets, 178 new blankets, 61 new pillows, 1,081 new toothbrushes, and 214 tubes of toothpaste along with multiple boxes of books, bags of stuffed animals, miscellaneous hygiene products, and 12 new mattresses from Gerhard’s. So many children in our community will cuddle up, warm in their new beds, enjoying all the bedtime items provided through the Dream Big Campaign. Each donation made to the Dream Big Campaign has made an important impact of the lives of local children.
