Truck Campaign Update
In summer 2022, we announced that our 1997 box truck, an essential part of our Beds for Kids program, needed to retire. It has served us well for so many years, but became unreliable. We embarked on a campaign to raise $80,000 to replace the truck with something of the same size, but more reliable and efficient. This replacement truck would ensure that we could continue to deliver beds to thousands more children in need for years to come.
The response from friends of OHAAT was overwhelming. We are truly humbled by your generosity, and are thrilled to announce that we are close to meeting our goal. OHAAT is currently in the process of searching for a replacement box truck, and look forward to updating you when one has been purchased.
The new truck will be dedicated to Nancy Larsen, a very special volunteer that was lost last year. Her commitment to the Beds for Kids program will live on in every delivery of the new truck.
