Celebrate National Young Readers Week with OHAAT and children’s author Aisha Toombs at Capricorn Books on November 18th.

National Young Readers Week is observed from November 15th through 19th this year, and celebrates the incredible world of books. Children can learn 4,000-12,000 words per year, just from reading! OHAAT is proud to raise awareness about the importance & joy of reading by hosting local author Aisha Toombs at Capricorn Books in Jenkintown (605 West Avenue) on November 18th, from 11am-1pm.

Aisha is a teacher, author, bee-enthusiast, and recipient of the Purple Dragonfly Award for Excellence in Children's Literature. Join us to hear her read Brown Brainy Brilliant Bunnies and check out her Nerdi Bunny series.

Capricorn Books will also have a selection of children’s and YA books available to purchase and donate to the Beds for Kids program!
