Dream Big Campaign

The annual Dream Big campaign is here! March is when the focus is on collecting all the essential bedding items that fill bedtime bags delivered to children in need. Last March, over $16,000 worth of bedding items were collected. If you want to learn more or participate, click here.

OHAAT gave out sleep health information at Senator Collett's Wellness Fair and won third place in Thrivent's Carol for a Cause with a kazoo rendition of 'Away in a Manger.' Unfortunately, snow disrupted  many of the planed Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service events, but Abington Friends School and Ann's Choice Erickson Senior Living were still able to support the Beds for Kids program by making no-sew pillows and blankets.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

A Personal Touch

For several months, OHAAT friend Sarah has been personalizing stuffed animals for some of the Beds for Kids recipients. We are so grateful for her supporting OHAAT's efforts to make every bedtime bag unique.

OHAAT is honored to have been awarded a grant from Foundations Community Partnership, which will fund 50 beds for children in need in our community.

In-Kind Kindness

Multiple organizations have been busy collecting bedtime items for OHAAT. Thank you all for making sure that bedtime bags are filled with all the essential bedtime items! Our heartfelt thanks to AstraZeneca, Doc Bressler's, Senator Melissa Cerrato's Office, North Penn Senior High School, Haddon Township High School, Upper Moreland Book Club, Newtown Friends, Capricorn Books, CRA Admired Leadership, Childtowne Montessori, Friends of the Horsham Library, Ann's Choice, Jarrettown United Methodist Church, and St. Thomas' Nursery School.

Community Volunteers

OHAAT was started by volunteers, and we remain a strong volunteer-based organization, thanks to the support of multiple community groups. Thank you to Grace Church, the Woman's Club of Suburban Philadelphia, St. Peter's Church, Jarrettown United Methodist Church, and Lakeside Counseling for spending time at the warehouse preparing bedtime bags and sorting books, and to xxx for delivering beds to children and youth in need.
