Healthy Kids Day® is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. For over 30 years, YMCAs and their communities hosted free community events aimed to inspire kids and families to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months and beyond.

Get ready for a spooktacular evening! Rep. Greg Scott is hosting his Boo at the Zoo Family Resource Fair in partnership with Elmwood Park Zoo and The Rose Foundation. This fun-filled event will feature resources for families, activities, and, of course, Halloween treats!
The Block Gives Back will be partnering up with Concilio CUA 3 and Boost Mobile to bring "Wissinoming Community Day" taking place at Wissinoming Park on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 from 11 AM - 2 PM.
The day will include music, food, games, giveaways, resources and tons of family fun.
A showcase of the large range of resources that are available to the Central Bucks Community. The vendors include mental health providers, local gyms, non-profit organizations, and wellness providers.

The Jenkintown Festival of the Arts will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, rain or shine.
Where: Jenkintown Town Square. The following blocks will be closed to traffic; West Ave, Leedom St, Summit Ave & Greenwood Ave. There is plenty of public parking throughout the borough.
Presented by: Jenkintown Community Alliance, a 301c Non-Profit organization. All proceeds benefit and support the work the JCA does in the borough of Jenkintown.

Join us at the Northeast Family Y to get ready for an amazing year ahead! Community partners will include OHAAT, Flashfood, Ready by 4th, and BASE.
The Y will be giving away bags and school supplies, and welcome guest speakers and organizations to provide resources for families. Free haircuts will be provided by Hair Wizards Barbershop.
Additionally, there will be a presentation by Kaira and Robert Nelson on healthy eating, exercising, mental health, and emotions. Kaira has a Master's Degree in Public Health and is a certified Health Education Specialist, and Robert has a Master's Degree in Science and is a certified Nutritionist and Wellness Coach.
This event is FREE and open to the community, no registration required.

Join OHAAT at Humpty’s Dumplings in Glenside on August 1st, and satisfy your tastebuds while supporting the Beds for Kids program. 15% of sales from August 1st will be donated to OHAAT (does not include orders for delivery/DoorDash/GrubHub).

Join OHAAT for a delicious Dine & Donate at Streetside BBQ’s Popup at the Lord’s New Church on June 13th from 5-7:30pm! Take your BBQ platter to go, or eat it on site (and maybe enjoy a walk on the beautiful grounds afterwards!). Streetside BBQ will donate 20% of all sales to One House at a Time.
Streetside BBQ is a local barbecue catering company that brings the true barbecue experience to the Philadelphia area. They pride themselves on using top-quality meats, cooking them low and slow over fragrant woods in a closed barbecue pit. All of their meats are served with homemade sauces that accentuate their flavor for a completely tasty experience.
